Who are we?

We bought this cottage back in October 2020 during the depths of COVID-19, we completed and then didn't go back for 5 months.

We then took stock of what we had bought and enlisted an architect to draw up some plans to turn a very open plan bedroom living room layout in to three well proportioned, cosy and comfortable bedroomed cottage.

The pandemic, material shortages and sadly the death our or main contractor put delay upon delay. we finally had our first family holiday in the cottage in August 2022.

I am currently a third year curate within the Church of England based in East Staffordshire, my wife is an HR manager for a medium size automotive electrical component company. We also have two teenage children. Before beginning my ordained life we as a family would often go and stay in cottages in and around Wales for our annual holidays. At the time I had a much greater disposable income. Now this is not the case, so as a family we decided to try and give a little back to other Christian ministers. we are doing this by offering you our cottage as a affordable place to stay.
